What we believe

We have a detailed statement of faith, but in a nutshell we believe:

The Bible is God’s inspired and infallible word to us and is the source of our knowledge of God and how we can relate to him and live for him.
God is the supreme ruler and creator of the universe, and us all.
People are made in the image of God, but we have chosen not to acknowledge him as our creator and ruler. The consequence of this is alienation and eternal separation from God.
God sent Jesus, the God-man to pay for our failure to live his way. He did this through dying in our place on the cross. The result of this is forgiveness and a new relationship with God.
God inhabits and empowers believers by his Spirit to respond to Him and live lives of gratitude for what he has done for us.
